People against Sugar Tax press UKIP on sugar tax

People against Sugar Tax has written to the UKIP leader, Paul Nuttall, and asked him to consider calling for the scrapping of the sugar tax.

In recent weeks, Paul Nuttall has pledged to scrap the 'bedroom tax', criticised the 'metropolitan elite', and made efforts to turn UKIP's fire on Labour in their heartlands. Yet he has failed to mention the sugar tax even once.

"Paul Nuttall is clearly trying to show UKIP are on the side of hard-working families, but remarkably, he has failed to mention the sugar tax. What is he afraid of?"
